Agreement

By using this website or booking a service with The Art of Tinting, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site or our services.

Services

We provide automotive window tinting, paint protection film (PPF), and ceramic coating installation services at our Milton, Ontario shop. All work is performed by appointment only.

Quotes and pricing

Published prices and package starting points are for illustration. Final pricing is provided after inspecting your vehicle and discussing your needs. A quote is valid for 30 days unless otherwise noted.

Appointments and deposits

We may require a deposit to reserve an appointment, especially for multi-day installs. Deposits are credited to your final invoice. Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice may forfeit a portion of the deposit.

Workmanship warranty

Lifetime workmanship warranty for the original owner. If our install fails under normal conditions — edge lifting, bubbling, peeling from our workmanship — we will repair or re-install at no cost, for as long as the original owner continues to own the vehicle.

Scope and transfer. The workmanship warranty is offered to the original owner of the vehicle at the time of install only. It is non-transferable and ends automatically if the vehicle is sold, traded, or transferred to another owner. The original invoice and vehicle identification are required for any warranty claim.

The warranty does not cover:

• Damage from accidents, improper washing (automatic brushes, harsh chemicals), or third-party modifications
• Pre-existing paint or glass defects disclosed or undisclosed at install
• Normal wear on high-impact areas (rocker panels, hood leading edges) beyond the film manufacturer's warranty
• Tint, film, or coating removed, altered, or serviced by another shop
• Claims made after the vehicle has changed ownership

Film and coating manufacturers provide separate product warranties with their own terms and durations — we help facilitate those claims when applicable. Our workmanship warranty covers our install; the manufacturer's warranty covers the product itself.

Aftercare

You'll receive written aftercare instructions at pickup. Following these instructions is required for warranty coverage. Examples: no washing for 3–5 days after window tint, pH-neutral soap only on ceramic-coated paint, no pressure washing film edges for 30 days after PPF install.

Liability

We carry commercial liability insurance and exercise professional care on every vehicle. Our liability is limited to the cost of the service performed. We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions, mechanical issues, or damage from third-party work.

Intellectual property

All content on this site — logos, text, images, design — is the property of The Art of Tinting or its licensors, and may not be used without permission.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada applicable therein. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Ontario.
